Pros

Many of the people in the company ooze enthusiasm for what they do. This combined with cute, stylish products is the best part of Tiny Prints.

Cons

The company is split into two parts. One part is the customer service/designer side, and the other side is the corporate team (marketing, engineering, etc). The fact that both parts of the company are treated in exactly the same way presents a problem. While this might benefit the customer service side, it acts as a major negative for the corporate side by limiting how often and when vacations may be taken, ability to work flexible hours (or from home occasionally), benefits, etc. Some seem to think that doing jumping jacks for hitting traffic goals, having the COO run laps around the office for number orders received, or other such silliness makes the company culture great, but when employees are forced to take part in this, it starts to feel more like punishment for success than kudos. Senior management often compares Tiny Prints to a big family. In a sense, they are right. The senior management acts as the over-controlling parents, while the rest of the company takes on the role of young children. Of course, senior management should take on a leadership role -- that's the point of their positions -- but it is possible to lead without condescending. In other companies all members of the company are treated like intelligent, responsible adults -- not at Tiny Prints! Lastly, compensation and benefits are average at best. In order to employ and hold on to top employees, compensation should be more competitive. Even in a market that benefits the employer, top notch employees will not have any trouble finding a new job with better benefits and compensation.

Pros

I work with diverse and supportive people. Teams and leaders demonstrate the will to respond to worker needs with kindness and respect. On the operational level, teams are highly flexible and adapt quickly to changes when provided proper support. Work-life balance is high priority for the people I interact with.

Cons

The company has difficulty holding on to talent in tech fields since a good chunk of the focus has to be allocated to art/design and production instead. CEOs come and go every few years, leading to instability. For some teams, the process remains overly complex and inefficient because of misalignments between leadership/engineering and ops team users. No formal humanist policy around AI & robotics yet.
