Simeio Canada lacks diversity and doesn't promote hiring Canadians or locals. The loophole in the immigration system of Canada is being misused here by bringing a particular ethnic group to Canada, even though there are talents in the IAM surplus in Canada and save on the CTC. Besides this, those transferred here get a closed work permit, forcing them to stay in the company for another 2-3 years as anybody local may not choose to stick with it. Simeio was excellent, but now it lacks vision; the care for employees and employee benefits is below par. What matters here is the $ Canadian employees have the right to disconnect as per the laws - but due to a lack of staff, they have to work for more than 12 hours during weekdays and connect on weekends (remember closed work permit) and no extra benefits for those additional hours.
