Pros
Every day is different, interesting, challenging job. Made some good friends for life. Used to be good place to work back in old days (2010), not anymore.
Cons
Worked for over 5 years, left position due to being treated as a number, not human being, no support and constantly being bullied from management. Management is a huge problem. Wages (private sector) are rubish- Lidl or Ikea pays more. Not flexible- if you have family, children in terms of Christmas, half terms or child's sickness you wouldn't get annual leave, your block leave you are required to book 1 year in advance and it doesn't guarantee that you would get it, wouldn't recommend. Inmates not a problem at all if you have relevant skills, however staff and management- backstabbing and bullying. Long night shifts- 11hrs for 7 nights in a row.
