Pros

They will hire anyone. Always job openings. Layoffs are very rare. You get a good meal everyday. Easy to transfer to another Sodexo location, they are all over the country. Overtime is very plentifull. Payday is every week.

Cons

They expect you to work very long hours. Pay is one of the lowest, for what they expect from you workwise. Hard to have much of a social life with all the hours you work. You have to work long hours though to get a decent paycheck. Too many crazy rules to follow. Impossible to follow through properly on all their policy requirements.

Pros

My direct coworkers and other onsite employees are amazing and some of the nicest and most welcoming people I’ve ever met. The day to day responsibilities are enjoyable to work on most days. Company phone provided for work communications during work hours (you don’t have to take them home with you) Free meals on shifts worked (with restrictions) “Set schedule”

Cons

Work life balance is not great. You hire on for one position or schedule and then end up being required to perform job duties that are outside of your description on top of your daily responsibilities. Wages are really low. Unfair distribution of allotted overtime hours. Benefits are not good either. Insurance is really expensive for not great coverage. Maternity leave is only 6 weeks and only 60% of your pay covered by short term disability (that you pay for out of pocket until 2 years of service)
