I was assistant manager. My manager never had my back when it came to me instructing employees. I was overwhelmed and underappriciated most of the time. I was expected to do so much, when I left, I was told it took 3 ppl to do my job until they could find a replacement. I was very underpaid. Made less than 1 dollar more than people I was supposed to be "managing". I got in trouble when someone did something wrong but was not given a leg to stand on as a manager assist. How was I supposed to lead when my manager didn't have my back, and then for me to get into trouble when someone didn't put an exp date on food!?!
