Can't give a lot of positives - Anonymous employee Sovos Employee Review

Thanks for the feedback. We’re glad that you were able to see the opportunity for advancement here at Sovos. The company has experienced tremendous growth over the past few years and that has allowed us to offer opportunities to our employees that enable them to develop their careers in new and exciting ways. Often that means that they grow within Sovos, but sometimes it means that they use the skills they develop here and bring their talents elsewhere. We hate to see our great employees leave us, but we are proud that we gave them a skillset that is transferable and that they are able to grow professionally. Despite the perception you may have had – employee turnover is actually the lowest that it has ever been here! We are the first to admit that communication can be difficult and we aren’t always perfect at it, which is why improving effective communication was one of our strategic goals for FY18. We saw significant improvement in employee satisfaction related to that and we will continue to work on it. And finally, we want to address your comment about our atmosphere. We strive to be a community of professional and collaborative individuals rowing together – and that, overwhelmingly, is the feedback that we get from employees both past and present. Over and over we hear how awesome the people are that work here and how much people value our culture. We are sorry that you saw the differently. We want to thank you for the time that you spent with Sovos and we wish you luck in the future.
