Pros
Great benefits, stocks, free weekly mark out, ability to transfer to any store, flexible hours, free drinks during shifts, raises, ability to meet great people and make friends, flexible time off, and easy to work towards promotion if desired. When you have a great team of people, it makes work fun.
Cons
Possibility of working under clueless shifts or managers, leaving you to pick up the slack. If working under a terrible manager, it's hard to get help or to see results from the dm. Rude customers as with any service job. You may end up with catty coworkers, and nobody puts an end to the drama. Sometimes work-life balance might not be the best if you're stuck with a manager who doesn't know how to make a schedule. Your days scheduled may not be consistent week to week. Sometimes may not get the hours you asked for, e.g. if you asked for 24hr/week may get 12-15hr/week around the slower season. Used to work with an extremely toxic team, left me with anxiety every time I had to go to work, thankfully whole team has since been replaced.
