Pros
-Extremely steep learning curve combined with great opportunities for growth -Intelligent, social, down-to-earth colleagues who you can learn a great deal from -Great clients to work with on interesting projects on a global level -High salary and benefits vs other career tracks -Intensive coaching and mentoring to facilitate accelerated learning - Getting responsibilities early on pushes you beyond what you would expect you could do - if you are in this game for the long-run there is no issue of career advancement. You won't get stuck at director level because there is no place for you as is the case with many other consulting firms I believe that in the past years we have started a growth path and are focussing on the right things as a company. In Amsterdam for example we are growing hard and reaping the benefits of the PwC collaboration.
Cons
- can be stressful at times - especially in projects abroad, work-life balance can be suboptimal - at one point in your career in consulting you might want to switch roles from advisor to owner/executer
