Pros

Mission and values of the organization are commendable. Knowing you are helping people with their retirement, higher education employees has some rewards to cause pride.

Cons

The culture is world class passive aggressive, so you will constantly need to watch your back, get pretty much everything in writing and trust nothing for face value. There seems to be no rime, no reason as to why people are recognized or promoted ( except they are "the teachers pet"). The politics and game playing are work class within this organization and it is truely a shame, but management does not appear to want it to change.

Pros

Great work life balance, good benefits, decent pay, ease of running your own practice as an “advisor”, and healthy work environment

Cons

Management styles can vary and affect your experience, upper management doesn’t seem to be well equipped to ensure the organization’s success but it is resilient nonetheless.
