Pros

Its a job. They provide all the training payed for. Most of the people are friendly and professional. can be challenging The benefits are ok/questionable. As long as you show up and are on time you pretty much have some job security, with some exceptions of course. You can move up to some degree depending on the manager you are put with.

Cons

Not really much for work/Life if your full time its about as much as another job unless your part time and for most people part time is not enough to live on or pay the bills. Very Metrics driven and from my own experience management is all about the numbers more then your willingness to be helpful to the customer The pay is $12.50 at the Brick and Mortar call center building and yet If you live only a few minutes away and would prefer to work as @Home Customer Service Rep they only want to pay you $8.50. Wouldn't it make more sense/CENTS to pay the employees that are making use of there own PCs,Electricity, Internet usage, and other resources better than the ones using up space and resources and the on site facility?

- Lack of transparency in regards to pay, benefits, drug tests, etc... - Extremely high pressure work environment - Extensive micromanagement - Poor relationship with clients leading to poor communication between leadership and agents on the production floor - Questionable Treatment of new agents - Very little flexibility in regards to time off, VTO, and PTO - Leadership extremely limited in ability to affect change and improve conditions (Corrective Actions borderline unavoidable if one has health issues) - Tenure takes precedent over performance leading to ethically questionable leadership and poor communication
