Pros
Not really a Pro but i have seen some people boast about it. It's a big company - which means if you a wolf between ship, you can hide well and if you have contacts - nobody can touch you !
Cons
Human Resource in this company is a big joke. You can keep asking and pleading for help , be it undue transfers, be it finding project which aligns to your work experience.. HR won't / can't help you. HR is here to support the company's ridiculous policies to make sure they save every penny by NOT approving any of the expenses that employee may incur due to business reasons. They are there to find excuses and vague policies which can catch you and save them from paying your expenses. There are lot of projects and they have many open positions - but the ones you are interested in may be in another ISU - under different managers and you will not get release from your current project even if you have no work there, they will keep you and assign you to some irrelevant role jsut because it's in the same project / manager as your current - so they dont have to go in search for suitable resources. They can exploit existing resource which is US citizen / GC holder and they dont want to let you go. They mostly have visa holders from india - they also are most of the time crying about the position they are in - and how they are forced to work on a role that they did not want to work but had to just because the position was there and they happened to be available at the same time in the same project. Human Resource team is a big joke - they will call you , harass you to update your location so they can update your salary - which is way lower than you are receiving currently - as it is this company pays a lot less than industry standards - and it works mostly well for them since they bring in mostly indian workers for who dollar income is a good pay when converted to their local currency. They will also keep you forwarding to other teams and not provide any solution at all. my request was forwarded within HR team 3 times, then to another team for policy and claims and then I was asked to get ISU approval - when asked my managers, they again referred me back to HR - completing the whole circle WITHOUT any resolution to my query and increasing the frustration.
