Good exposure for a fresher to emerging technologies thanks to Tech Mahindra's wide range of customers which is now seriously waning. A free hand to work on any environment as long as you deliver. Somewhat flexible timings.
Cons
Being a fresher I saw a lot of regional bias and favoritism as soon as I joined. It’s been three years now on four different projects and something that has stayed common is that the management has little to no technical knowhow. The work load is not evenly distributed among the team, majority of the people get away doing nothing while the other members have to slog trying to meet the days deadlines. These few to my surprise have the full support of their seniors. Tech Mahindra is not very hesitant giving one certificates of recognition for the exemplary efforts one may put in. Unfortunately, this at the end of the day is nothing but a color printout with your name on it in big letters on an expensive glossy sheet of paper. This recognition although does not translate into promotions or appraisals. Furthermore, long work hours sometimes even on the weekends when you are not on call ruins your work-life balance...Looking back now I have no semblance of a life anymore.
