Pros
Teradata had a great product and people for a long time until a major upheaval in the 2017 timeframe. Current leadership has changed multiple times since then.
Cons
Teradata severely missed the boat relative to cloud momentum. While dominant in the global enterprise corporate space for a long time, they have not landed any significant new logos in the past 7-8 years, and in fact have lost some large customers during that time.
