Pros
Great step into the corporate world. Travel a lot, so if dating/starting a family - not the best role. Ideal for new grads in their 20's. The restaurant opening team is mostly in their 20's, but some are early 30's - so job can be a lot of fun when you are on the road opening stores. You get to do a variety of different things, in different departments, exposes you to a lot of the operations side of things but even more than that (research and development, HR, marketing, finance - depends on your individual career goals). I left having a fair bit on my resume for this role, enough to be able to cater resume to a variety of different areas (operations/project management style roles more-so though). Oh, and benefits were a huge pro to this company.
Cons
The company values homogeneity. It discourages originality or individuality which is completely out of touch with the outlook of the Gen Y employees that they hire for this role. Thus, the role has extremely high turnover with people staying 1-2 years, as I did.
