Pros
Proactive approach to reviews throughout the year make it easy/quick to progress through promotions to higher grades, salaries etc Achievements are recognised and rewarded by local management/ larger company wide trips like Top Score Decent base salary and opportunity to make big commission pay outs, although this varies across departments A lot of staff travel opportunities through familiarisation and educational trips and other offers from suppliers, if you can secure them Good team atmosphere within our store and plenty of opportunities to network with other branches Overall a very supportive/ secure company that is well regarded by its clients and makes you feel proud/ motivated to work hard
Cons
Whilst there is some flexibility around swapping and changing shifts there are some strict rules in rosters that don't always seem logical which can make work/life balance quite challenging, especially with daily overtime and short lunch breaks it can make some days in busy season can feel quite exhausting without rest during the week Annual leave can be difficult to secure and being able to only swap Sunday shifts is quite impractical meaning you work a lot more weekends than maybe what was advertised
