Pros

Met some lovely people. If you exit TransPerfect alive, you can survive anything!

Cons

What you will encounter is unpaid overtime and overtime is all that you do there. My contract stated that I have a 1 hour lunch, but I was only on very rare occasions able to have a 20 minute lunch. The workday was supposed to start at 8:30 am and end at 17:30 pm. In reality, my workdays lasted from 8 am till 11 pm and I was finding it difficult to find time for bathroom breaks. The projects just pour in and you can't do anything about it. You need to final eye the translations and deliver lots of projects at the same time. As some of the reviews already say here, you are constantly micromanaging and trying to avoid a disaster if you should deliver a project late. It goes without saying that there is absolutely no work and life balance in this company. Working there has seriously damaged my health. I have anxiety and can't get rid of hand tremors.

Pros

The work isn't too tough. The people in the office are skilled and pleasant. There are decent benefits and you can work from home for 2 days.

Cons

The pay is bad. Decent for when you first start but raises are small and infrequent. Bonuses are even smaller and more infrequent. We were fully remote but slowly have been forced back into office for no good reason.
