- The biggest con was having a Team Supervisor with absolutely 0 people skills, very egotistical and narrow-minded logic - Kept at 15hr contracts to avoid providing benefits - Absolutely no opportunities for career progression - Refusal (or claimed to be lack of budget) to replace leavers, therefore doubling the workload for existing staff - Lack of support from management and supervisors regarding employee wellbeing; promised weekly meetings with absolutely no follow-through - Damaged and dangerous equipment sent from DC (stocked cages with “Damaged - Do not use” stickers sent to store) = negligence of safety of others - Chronically and dangerously overstocked cages which explode when opened (I was injured twice) - Favouritism, a member of staff who initiated an intimate relationship with a supervisor was promoted to keyholder despite being wholly incapable of their basic duties - Further favouritism regarding overtime - Nepotism, if you are a family member or a friend of the family, you can get away with absolutely anything - Micromanagement
