Pros

Flexible schedule Limited direct customer interaction No kid birthday parties to deal with Minimal package sales (not heavily sales focused) Opportunity to do arts and crafts when making props or doing repairs Light general manager duties (mainly scheduling, performance management, facility maintenance) Managing overall workload is relatively easy compared to other jobs

Cons

No structured training provided for positions (learning depends on who came before you) Requires being a strong self-starter to succeed Poor communication and slow response times from upper management Lax culture among leadership with little urgency or concern for daily operations Heavy emphasis on hitting metrics, sometimes prioritized over quality or staff well-being Game quality and upkeep could be much better (lack of professional maintenance on construction, wiring, and coding) Repairs are often delayed; broken elements are ignored if the game can still run Some customers may be drunk or disruptive due to late-night hours
