The business has become too big for those running it. Inexperienced for such a large scale operation and you can tell, cracks forming throughout the factory and beyond, Senior team have no idea as they sit far away from the day to day. Unhappy staff due to on going rumours, staff leaving with no notice, with truth hidden as to why, causing others to feel like they could be next, always looking over their shoulder. If they aren’t happy with a member of staff or something they’ve done they just pay them off, shocking way to treat people. Certain people are treated very differently than others, you have to be part of the in crowd, willing to do whatever is asked whether right/wrong or ethical. Alot of decisions are made then the senior team will change their minds with no explanation, leaving you looking like the one in the wrong or utterly stupid. Some of the senior team literally have no job role, and just sit barking orders at people, filling out spreadsheet after spreadsheet, bringing all the blame for mishaps onto others. Zero support, thats only available if your face fits, which is a handful of people. Inexperienced staff brought in to do jobs they cannot do, causing further pressure on existing staff. Promising good experienced staff progression that doesn’t come to fruition, leaving them to stagnate and feel worthless. A HR team that aren’t there for the staff in any way, anything discussed doesn’t remain confidential. It was a wonderful family company 4/5 years ago, but thats all changed, which is such ashame.
