      Great CAD work experience

      Pros

      This is a great place for beginning drafters, or designers, to gain AutoCAD work experience. As someone who entered straight out of college I can definitely say FJS helped sharpen my skills.

      Cons

      The pay is low, but that's the sacrifice you make for work experience. The owner/boss can also be condescending abusive. The baffling thing is that HR doesn't intervene. I witnessed an employee get berated to the point of crying. HR, who sits a desk away, did nothing about the situation.

      Pros

      Was able to acquire a ton of knowledge and experience in the field, as well was providing plenty of opportunity to grow and move up.

      Cons

      Not very flexible with my personal life schedule. Needed allot of commitment and time in what they were asking and wanted from me.

      Pros

      It's a great place to learn and get your feet wet if you're just getting into this industry.

      Cons

      The environment is terrible. The familial dynamic within this company creates an atmosphere of fear of speaking up when things are noticeably wrong. There's no standard way of doing things - there's only the boss's way or else you're 'wrong.' Processes seem to change from day to day which makes it extremely exhausting to find the energy to want to care about the work you do.
