      A company nuttier than a squirrel turd

      Dog friendly office Breakfast Some peope

      Cons

      Overpriced and cluttered product which results in a non-charming sales focus. Management wouldn't care if they sold their families kidneys as a stream of revenue. Products going live without impacted teams knowing about it, bad products being released, "high-priority" initiatives that demand whole teams to immediately drop everything else only to get abruptly canceled halfway through. As previous reviews, clueless management together with a fake culture where no questions or negativity is allowed, everyones talks about being a happy family but of course this is not true. Very bad salary and bonus structure on top of that.

      I loved working at Fishbrain when I joined - great colleagues, lot of after works and parties, constant fun with the team, amazing location of both offices. Still applicable to some extend but this culture is slowly dying :(

      Cons

      Lot of recent reorganisation and another one is coming, firing competent managers, shifting focus from one project to another without any data, minimal reflection on non-successful projects, unclear future plans, top management communicates priorities in inconsistent way. Colleagues in the team are quietly quitting and the only managers who cared about their teams are being fired.

      I’m sorry to hear that you don’t see us being the same company you joined and loved working for. I’m the first to admit that our amazing culture took a hit when we scaled too fast and like everyone else we suffered going from onsite to fully remote because of the pandemic. With our shift from growth to profitability a reorg was inevitable. Now that’s done and we are performing well I’m confident that we’ll get our mojo back again. I’d be happy to hear your feedback on how we can become more data driven as this is something that we strive to be and are constantly trying to improve so your feedback is valuable. Same with communication, feedback on how we can improve here is valuable. I realize that since we’re moving fast we might sometimes not communicate enough the rationale behind our decisions.       code no documentation | long complicated worse in android | cto clueless | coo new and clueless | technology manager nice but clueless too difficult to understand accent | no plan no roadmap | many meetings | lot of lazy people we dont know what they do | | pay is low and no change | many bugs
