Pros

fruit and some kind of breakfast

Cons

- Toxic Managing Director - Anything told in confidence to HR probably will be used against you at some point - Unprofessional senior management - Unhealthy amount of politics leaking out from senior management - If you speak up about something that is wrong, it's ignored or shot down - Managing Director talks a big game in the interview, which turns out to be lies (I was promised share options, which never happened) - Basically a lot of lying goes on here

Pros

+ You can learn a lot of core finance and sales skills very quickly +Some people are earning £5k+ most months (this might not be true now) + Good team nights out

Cons

-Technologically behind their competition by 2 years or more -Increasingly corporate, and always pushing a cult-like notion that Funding Options is the best place to work, ever. And all the competition is either rubbish, or evil. - Consistently over-promise and under deliver. Will tell you that your salary is being kept low because it's 'benchmarked', but actually hire people in lower positions than you with the same salary. -Happy to push you hard and encourage you to take on more responsibilities, all the while telling you how key you are, and how good you are doing, but never actually reward this additional effort and achievement with more money. -Keep hiring clueless 'Yes Man' management who know less about finance than guys who have been there 2 weeks. At serious finance firms, everyone who manages sales people knows what EBITDA means before they've got the job. -Very image focussed, and always shouting about minor achievements in order to distract from the very serious flaws in the model. -Consistently manage people out because they don't have a 'good atttitude', which translates to knowing your place and not complaining. Being positive is more important than being good.

Pros

Free cereal and fruits everyday Helpful colleagues

Cons

Intensely pressurised sales environment, you will wonder if it's worth it. Very stressful place to be if you are a not meeting sales targets. If you are it's great , you will be treated like the belle of the ball. If you are not then be expected to be pulled aside for a stern put down by your manager.
