      Pros

      All the below pros are unfortunately no longer true, since the current Managing Partner took over in January 2024. Before then: - Competitive salary - Fair and compassionate policies - Non-corporate approach to consulting - Decent intelligent people - Exciting client projects

      Cons

      Now, there is very little to be excited about. The firm has been on a linear downward trajectory for some time. Cons include: - Voluntary exit of our best leadership - Voluntary exit of our best talent - Stagnant salaries - Regressive policies, incl halving pat leave - Corporate culture with BD as sole focus - Cruel layoffs across US and UK firms - Impossible targets leading to no bonus - Plan for ‘inorganic growth’

      Great in good times, rough in tough times

      Pros

      - Ability to be entrepreneurial - Some great coworkers - Core offerings are interesting - Enthusiastic coworkers - Fun office environment - New head of firm is a solid, more inclusive human - so could get better!

      Cons

      - Commission model related to selling work fosters competitiveness, not always in a nice way - Expectations not in line with macroeconomic conditions - Firm didn't do full due diligence on US market before entering it - Layoffs packages are well below industry standard - Much of leadership is immature, some PDLs toxic - Not as transparent as other US workplaces - Weak support for US. First US partner a poor leader (now gone)
