Good salary and benefits but major disorganization issues
Pros
-Competitive salary based upon a predetermined grid -Teambuilding events (at a cost) -Health insurance from day 1 (limited coverage though) -Gender equality -Company car if needed, if not gas reimbursement -Up to date and maintained tools (but still lacking for tasks) -Company phone or small cellular reimbursement -Centralized app for reports, hours, data entry, etc.
Cons
-Disorganization -They extended my probation period of 3 months by another 3 months because they literally FORGOT to monitor me and admitted to it! -Supervisors often unreachable and unresponsive -Work schedule only given the night before at 6-8 PM -Extremely inconsistent hours even during high season (ex. 15 hours in a week in July...) -Did not accommodate for disclosed disability/health problems -More disorganization -Operational issues: dispatch stretched extremely thin, project managers AND clients not notified when technicians were sent on site, supervisors very hands off and will not return your calls/emails for help -Disconnection between teams, lots of time wasted calling various people for information -Some technician roles operate year-round, forcing us to work through dangerous storms and the coldest days of the year in thin latex gloves -Even more disorganization -Lack of proper and complete equipment, lots of improvisation required -Pressure for extraordinary performance daily -Ignored and brushed off when trying to develop a more connected workflow
