Pros

- The timings are great. You start work at 7:30 AM and leave the office at 4:30 PM. - Leaves are credited monthly along with the salary (it's 2.5 days of leaves per month). - The colleagues and our team lead (and the content manager) were cool people to work with (the upper management was the exact opposite). - The compensation is decent.

Cons

- The timings are not flexible. - Employees are treated as manufacturing machines here, not humans. The VP even repeats this point multiple times in all his dull speeches (which are nothing but grandstanding anyway). - Just 30 days of paid leaves every year (excluding national holidays). That's below industry standards. - While the compensation is decent, the benefits aren't. In fact, I still don't understand what the benefits are. - It takes them 8 months to confirm a new employee. Not cool. - Smart casual wear allowed only on Fridays. They don't trust their employees to make the right choice. - Not allowed to listen to music while working. Too many distractions in the office to concentrate on work and still be creative. - They have a team outing every month, but every employee is given only INR 500 (<$10) to spend. It's nothing but forced team bonding. - Impossible targets. Every employee is expected to write 12.6 pages of any given website(s) per day, or submit 1.8 sites (9 websites every week). Considering the wide range of businesses out there, and the variety of website templates which we use to write our content on, it's impossible to achieve the target without hampering our creativity. Some get lucky with their sites, but most don't. As a result, the overall morale of the team is always down. - There's no place to relax if you're feeling stressed out. - Not much room to grow in the company.

Pros

Salary is the only motivating factor.

Cons

Where do I start? It's a job where you have no idea what you are doing as a copywriter, what your managers want and what the client wants. It's a hopeless process, more of a pressure cooker. They are hiring like crazy because the attrition rate is so high. Old Hibu people as well as new comers are leaving the company because it really sucks. There is no scope for growth and no scope for creativity as a writer. Join this place only if money matters to you the most. These people make you work 10 hours straight and track every second of your productivity in office. You can't rake more than 45 minutes of break. They expect you to work as dogs. They make you work on Saturdays in the name of "business requirement". It's a clueless bunch of people managing the pet project of the client. Mind you the client is super arrogant who makes the lives of the managers hell, which means that your life will be screwed by the Managers in the name of the client.
