Pros

Colleagues are good and should have more

Cons

They take away all PR, take away head UK, take away UK team boss and try to blame staff. This is your BAD idea, maybe you think we are stupid?

Hi, We appreciate that everyone reacts differently to the structural changes described here. Our aim has always been to ensure a robust support system and clear direction for all employees. It's important to acknowledge that our internal feedback channels indicate employees are satisfied with the improved operational clarity following this decision. Our previous PR department did a tremendous job, and were highly skilled, valued members of the team. Unfortunately it became clear that PR simply isn't the best fit for our business model. The recent changes have also allowed us to promote many individuals internally, giving them opportunities to step into leadership roles and contribute fresh ideas while we focus on our fundamentals. We are committed to continuous improvement and encourage open dialogue. If you are an active employee and have further thoughts or would like to share more about your experience, we invite you to reach out directly to your line manager, our employee advocacy body the "First Mate Committee", or our HR team. Your input is invaluable as we work together to make our workplace even stronger. The HolidayPirates Team

Pros

Nice working space in city centre.

Cons

I spent over 9 years working at HolidayPirates, and my experience, unfortunately, ended on a very sour note. After dedicating nearly a decade of my professional life to this company, I was abruptly dismissed without so much as a thank you. No recognition, no appreciation for the hard work and loyalty I brought to the table. What’s even more appalling is the refusal to provide a recommendation letter, which feels like a final, unnecessary insult. The lack of respect for long-term employees speaks volumes about the company’s integrity—or rather, the lack thereof. HolidayPirates is poorly managed, with decisions that often seem arbitrary and disconnected from the needs of both employees and customers. There is a noticeable lack of transparency in their actions, and honesty is in short supply. It’s clear that integrity and honor are not values upheld by this company. In short, I would not recommend working here if you value professionalism, transparency, and basic human decency. HolidayPirates is a deeply disappointing place to work, and I cannot in good conscience endorse them in any way. Due to the unjust nature of my dismissal, I’ve taken legal action and sued them for wrongful termination and won.

Hi, While it is very rare for us to dismiss employees abruptly, certain situations do occasionally require immediate action. We want to assure you that we always strive to handle such cases with professionalism and care. By law, we are required to provide a termination letter to every departing employee. If you did not receive this, please reach out to our HR team so we can promptly address this oversight. We recognize the importance of fostering clarity and alignment across the organization. To this end, we’ve implemented a new OKR (Objectives and Key Results) system designed to improve internal coherence and transparency, ensuring everyone is on the same page and working toward shared goals. Regarding the statement about legal action, we want to clarify that, at the time of writing, there are no pending lawsuits involving the company. If there are outstanding concerns, we encourage open communication to resolve matters fairly and amicably. We value feedback like yours as it helps us grow and improve. If you would like to share further insights or discuss your experience, please don’t hesitate to contact HR directly. We remain committed to building an environment where all employees feel respected and appreciated. We wish you the best in your future endeavors and thank you for your years of service. Pros

- too many events and parties - multinational - very good facilities and devices

Cons

- totally un-organized - they do not keep their word, and they are moody - do not really believe the smily faces there - they do not know what are they doing and at the end it might affect you cause they will utilize their lack of management skills as excuse to get rid of you. - they have no explain for the solutions they are using for their systems. - they really try to show off the freedom of speech but its all myth - they might suddenly change your title in contract and try to convince you there is no problem but do not trust them. - although the apparently happy environment its common that many employees (happy people) suddenly disappear and no one knows why.
