Pros

You get a handsome salary because of high attrition and bad culture people don't stay and need to replaced. Team-mates are good.

Cons

1. Highest attrition in the industry. 2. No benefits, company doesn't want to spend on employee benefits. 3. Worst Insurance even worse than a lot of small services company. 4. Lot of fake promises. 5. Management doesn't takes feedback at all. 6. High performers are replaceable but high talkers grow very rapidly. 7. If you are unlucky enough to work under these high talkers, you will be blamed and exposed every-time despite having no-faults of yours.

Pros

The stage at honestbee is rightly set for tech enthusiasts. However, you have to be patient, also you should know/need to learn how to manage things. If you have these few qualities then you can go on to read the pros - (1) honestbee is at a stage where code design matters and so your learning is on next level if you are here to put some nice effort. (2) honestbee is at a stage where separating out new microservices and their interactions are also very important so you have another interesting thing to learn. (3) honestbee has a great devops infra and since there are a few business verticals (and so the applications), you get to manage your own service. Aligning your service with the current devops is a great source of learning. (4) The process of code delivery ( from development... to reviews... to deployment) in the initial monolith we build and the kind of people we have to do those reviews are such that if you get to work (which is a good chance) in the project, you learn a lot about processes, things from high level to low level designs and a lot more. (5) There are a lot of technologies honestbee uses, actually it is very open to any new tech which could help and so not restricted to one thing. Chances are that your learnings in 1 year at honestbee could be a lot more than 3 years of learning in a lot of companies out there since at honestbee you are also exposed to so many tech problems and hence learning is a obvious outcome.

Cons

People can talk about a few problems here but what I see is that those problems are not specific to the company but I feel any startup in this phase (and operating from multiple countries with employees with so many different nationalities speaking english well and not so well) would face these problems. And to speak the truth, these problems are a great source of learning for anyone who is trying to solve them both tech and non-tech. Note: This company is not for someone who wants a well sorted job where things are well defined and you don’t have to think about a lot of other things. I suggest to join an MNC if you fall under this category.
