I worked at Hunt Construction Group full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Ability to gain good experience for your resume.

    Cons

Annual salary increases are below the regional cost of living adjustment. Upper management lies when explaining the bonus incentives. The owner of my last project paid the bonus incentive in October 2018 and to date, 3/6/19 no bonuses have been paid to the project staff. All of the positive reviews are for a company that no longer exists (Hunt Construction Group). Mike Fratianni is not the CEO, in fact he was unceremoniously...

    Cons

    1. Some teams have bad leadership or leader is just disrespectful. 2. Sometimes project demands more and it's tough to balance home and work. 3. There's never a good time to take time off.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the project managers and project directors who don't respect their employees, team members, ad clients.

    Pros

Work on large High profile projects , travel, good pay ,

    Cons

No concept of work life balance , Need to consider project team, and not just project, The team will make it happen if treated properly. Place people in areas that reflect their strength. use strategic scheduling with respect to project team, very large project teams, should be Management 101.

    Advice to Management

Understand the strength of your team players and place accordingly. Give some thought to employee strategic scheduling ( life work balance) . Upper management needs to police itself ,and respond accordingly to problem situations and people . instead of looking other way

I have been working at Hunt Construction Group full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

Overtime available. Great benefits. Time off isn’t a problem. The insurance and added company paid benefits are great. Many team building events held each year.

    Cons

Not much room for advancement. Company tends to hire from outside instead of promoting form it’s own talent. Information for new hires can be lacking. There’s a wealth of benefits available that people tend to not know about.

    Advice to Management

    Promote within the company.
