The business is based around a single client, and would not fare well if this client took business elsewhere. Senior management does not always fully understand the work that their employees complete, and the industries that they are involved in. Failure of the company to keep up with the pace of the IT world is quickly making large segments of their work irrelevant as the industry passes them. Projects and work have steadily declined as major players have left IP Services over the last year or so. Dealing with incompetent management pushed those employees who tried to make a positive change away from the company.
Compensation is far below the industry averages for the types of work performed. Favoritism seems to run rampant, and ideas for improvement are not well received. There is ZERO growth opportunity - after a few years, they may tack "senior" in front of your job title - but even according to management, these are superficial to keep people happy. The failure to modernize and grow does not lead to a positive outlook for IP Services.
