Chaotic but eye-opening experience
Pros
Gained hands-on experience managing roadshow events, troubleshooting operational issues, and handling difficult customers. Learned to coordinate inventory and deliveries independently. Flexible schedule with some level of autonomy in task management. Young bosses can be fun and approachable, creating a casual and engaging work culture.
Cons
Working with young, naive bosses has its good and bad sides. Some cross the line…excessive profanity, racial slurs, and humiliating staff during tantrums. Fear-based culture with unreasonable fines and poor HR structure. No proper training, coaching, or safety practices. Employees often overworked and underpaid. Poor warehouse safety and lack of accountability when incidents happen. Micromanagement contradicts the supposed “freedom.”
