Pros

None. They bought Help Employment & Training and ruined an amazing culture since COO Dave Avery came on board in 2023. David's sense of humour, passion for employee inclusion and participant good news stories shined, and the goal was to trickle that down for all employees to embrace. He succeeded to build a community that we all loved being a part of.

Cons

IntoWork purchasing Help "to look good for IEA tender" failed. They have taken over the lovely community that David created and destroyed it with their terrible reputation and old boomeristic views. The CEO, Poull is incredibly out of touch with society, rambles on about revenue in out of touch "Town Hall" meetings. Nothing about passion for participants or employees. In shocking moves, made redundant COO David Avery because we certainly cannot allow executive leadership to embrace the REAL points of DES - the success of participants and amazing employee work culture. Most theorise it was IntoWork's crap reputation that resulted in the loss of the tender for Help Employment & Training, making redundant hundreds of long standing employees. There was a time where we were not paid on the usual pay day, and nothing at all was addressed. Not a "sorry" not one bit acknowledgement. Helps payroll officer confirmed that she sent everything over for approval to Intowork, but apparently some be had a few too many drinks and dropped the ball. Many co-workers had loan, rent and other payments that were then late!

Pros

- The team I worked with were fabulous

Cons

- 'Best practice' is a dirty word and we were explicitly instructed not to use it - Toxic culture with a lot of misogyny from the top down, at every level - Somehow were able to become White Ribbon ambassadors despite men in the organisation refusing to participate in the process - Have 'grown' the group through acquisition rather than success - I could go on ...
