      Great salary and benefits, great people on staff, 100% remote work except for travel to some meetings

      The founder tied the board's hands on some key decisions that restrict the effectiveness of the programs

      Pros

      When I first started working here, it was like finding heaven on earth. I couldn't have been happier. The way they talk about teachers and about their commitment to equity and to each other is incredible. We were doing great work.

      Cons

      Confusing policies Really awful leadership moves including gaslighting, really weird uses of power, and terrible behavior (yelling, slamming things, etc.)

      You will work with amazing teachers from across the country Excellent colleagues Good job for transitioning out of the classroom

      Cons

      Good staff members keep leaving due to poor treatment, or are trying to No COLA this year despite rampant inflation and big bonuses for some The director literally yells during staff meetings if you don't 100% back her You will be micromanaged Poor leadership overall There is nobody you can go to if you have any employment or salary issues
