Kodely has an employee rating of 4.3 out of 5 stars, based on 30 company reviews on Glassdoor which indicates that most employees have an excellent working experience there.
-good pay
-great support from admin and higher ups
-easy to understand and teach lesson plans
-always feels prepared with materials
-good work environment
Cons
- typically get less than 10 hours of work each week
Both the flexible schedule and entry level pay make working with Kodely extremely appealing as they aim towards the university student demographic. The flexible schedule and specialized pay means being able to work around class and at a more specialized rate compared to a part-time job just about anywhere else.
Cons
Sometimes communication and other info can get a little bit lost due to the primarily digital platform, but it's worth the cost for flexibility.
At this company I am able to do all my design work from home and it's easy to check-in with all the staff over email or slack. Honestly I love being able to create flyers for them, create t-shirt designs, or slide decks. This has been a great side job for me and I'm very happy to have found it.
Cons
The only con is the inconsistent hours, as there isn't always design work in the company, so I can not work at all some weeks. Other than that looking at the job as an on-the-side thing, it's great :)
