I worked at LatentView Analytics full-time

    Pros

    1) Can learn a lot of things both in technical and business front
    2) Great exposure to multiple domains since the company provides services to multiple domains
    3) Amazing work culture
    4) Awesome people to work with and learn
    5) Homegrown managers sure know how to get the work from you without even you knowing it

    Cons

    1) More reporting and visualization and very less predictive modeling
    2) Some of the newly-recruited managers seem to have good business knowledge but little or no technical knowledge
    3) Timesheet is kind of changing the very culture of the company
    4) A small amount of cronyism seem to pop up here and there

    Advice to Management

1)It will be great if you can retain homegrown talent and promote them so that the culture, which makes it a great place to work, is intact.
    2) Increase in the base pay will certainly keep many employees happy and help retain many

I worked at LatentView Analytics full-time

    Pros

Good culture with flexible work timings

    Cons

I would review in terms of scenarios.

Scenario 1: you will be fresh out of college knowing the basics of data science and with lot of eager to work on a real time data analytics project. But you will be inducted into a team where you will be expected to work on web development, aws data engineering or in a project where everything will be in place and all you need to do will be changing the date and running the code to produce excel reports. If you are lucky you may get even more shittier job

Scenario 2: at the start of the cycle you will be given goals in approach, execution, communication.. You will also have goals in business development and organisation development (BD and OD) which are supposed to be done by Assistant Managers and above. You will still accept the goals and work your heart towards achieving them. At the end of cycle you would have worked way better than any one in your team building great rapport with onsight coordinator. After the end of normalization process you will be given a default rating and someone who whiled away the time would get a higher rating and promotion just because she/he will be senior in terms of experience to you. The reason that you were not given a good rating will be "you did not have good communication with client"(note that there will be a onsight coordinator).

Scenario 3: out of great disappointment you decide to carry-on your work assuming that at least you will have a work satisfaction and go and ask your manager for a good data science Project. He will assure you he will get that in 2 months. But how come something which didn't come for a year or so will come in 2 months? You will be like a sleeper cell for life doing some reporting projects.

    Advice to Management

Top layer and bottom layer are good. Please take care of mid layer
