Pros
The biggest thing is that the culture is great. The leadership truly tries to do what's right for the DoD as well as the employees, while being in a hard business. Fantastic work-life integration. I can work just 40hr each week and other times they approve OT to meet program needs.
Cons
It's a very large business with big company problems. Processes are an obstacle to progress, but they are trying to improve that. Things won't move as fast as small organizations. They specifically are lacking in the software domain.
