Racist Company

Pros

Everyone was good to work with except the owners Jim and Julie. Dave, the head designer, is good at his job and easy to communicate with. The work had good variety, as does any agency job.

Cons

Overall very oppressive management and bad communication from Jim and Julie. Lots of turnover with staff, particularly designers. Some of the racist comments said while I was there was, "I don't want to see any acknowledgment of country, it's our land now." and "They can't swim anyways" when referring to the indigenous people's land rights case in the NT with an offshore drilling company.

Pros

Good location. Teammates were great. Fish and chips provided on a Friday.

Cons

Directors were awful to work for. If anything went wrong, meetings would be held to find blame. Insane deadlines. Weeks would pass with no active client work. Legal disputes. Didn't pay Super. Tried to reduce salary after already agreed. Enforced 3 week Christmas shutdown. Shouting matches in the office between directors. Constant arguing. Toxic environment.
