Exhausting. You are not allowed to talk to your colleagues. Even at lunch time you eat at your seat and management sees to it that you don't talk to anyone outside your department. Team leads body shame people. Even a dress where your ankles are showing can attract a meeting with the HR. Maybe other departments are good but the Editorial department is hell. Even working 5 days were so exhausting. The management keeps count of how much time you spend in the bathroom. Days would pass by when you don't even talk to someone sitting beside you. Team leads would also change your seats because you're "talking". It may be good for freshers but not for experienced professionals because the work is mundane and overall there is no upskilling or growth. Even desktops are not provided and you're expected to write down pages and pages of content. The only break where you can stand up from your seat is when you go to the bathroom. No one sticks around for more than a year here once they get to know about the toxic workplace environment. God forbid you talk to your colleague for a minute and the next thing you know you'll be in a meeting room with the manager. Join at your own risk.
