Not worth the commute

Pros

Work from home on Fridays. Summer Friday (off at 1pm Fridays between Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend)

Cons

In office 4 days a week. No culture. Feels like they don’t care about employees and growth. No holiday party. Literally no perks. Most of your tiny bonus goes to tax. Calling it a bonus is a bit of a stretch too.

Pros

The only pro to this job is the ability to work from home which is also a con if you are new in your career.

Cons

1. Stagnant Career Growth: Limited mobility and promotion opportunities are impacting employee financial stability and motivation. I stayed for 3.5 years and I was given more work with no extra pay. 2. HR Oversight: The absence of robust HR support is hindering effective team management and resolution of interpersonal conflicts. 3. Work-Life Balance: Employees are experiencing excessive work hours, including weekends, leading to burnout and decreased productivity. 4. Leadership Deficiency: A lack of strong leadership from directors and associates is undermining morale and impeding the achievement of strategic goals. 5. Employee Well-being: Instances of harassment and bullying are being inadequately addressed, posing risks to employee well-being and the company's reputation. high turnover because of constant lay offs 6. Addressing these issues requires proactive measures to promote career advancement, strengthen HR support, implement work-life balance initiatives, enhance leadership training, and swiftly address misconduct for a healthier work environment and sustained organizational success.

Pros

-Guild education benefits -kind coworkers -ability to work from home -higher end of compensation compared to the industry

Cons

-worker well-being is not a priority to management. -teams down members are expected to step in for months of coverage-with no extra pay, just an expectation to work 70-80 hour weeks to cover -no ability for growth. People can remain assistants for 5-6 years with minimal raises. There’s a bottle neck for growth opportunities and they’ve been handed to external candidates recently -no lateral moves, you can be stuck on a brand or category for years despite raising interest in moving. No the same growth opportunities as when I joined and people were promoted every 2 years - you are at the mercy of the management on your team
