Pros

- Some flexibility in scheduling - Some coworkers are great people. - Probably a decent place if located in MN and going into the office. - The recruiter was very open and transparent about the state of the company when I joined.

Cons

I worked at Magnet 360 both before and after the Mindtree merger. Prior to Mindtree Magnet 360 was an excellent place to work, but after the merger everything (benefits, culture, go to market strategy, quality of projects) has suffered. I gave the company around a year and half to find footing after the merger. - Internal Tools (timecard, benefits portal, ERP systems) are TERRIBLE. - Empty promises from Middle & Upper Management - Teammates do not always have your back (needless in-fighting) - Company is no longer a thought leader or innovative and is now a low cost provider of IT services (Mindtree) - Lower than market pay. Need to wait for the next quarter for a raise. - Lack of understanding and investment of markets outside of the mid-west. - Low employee moral.

Pros

Many decent, hard working and talented people to learn from. Some flexible work hours. Employees do try to help each other. Pay was average. Benefits not the best.

Cons

Over worked and under appreciated.. Not good for an introvert. People are assigned to projects with little or no training or support. Sink or swim. Many project managers have no technical skills and worry only about their metrics and not how their lack of ability impacts the people assigned to the project. Gossip. Silly games like BCC emails. Fearful, abusive environment. No support from managers. Sink or swim. Reviews are boiler plate templates and generally late.

Hello, Thank you for your opinion, we appreciate the kind words about our Magnetic Minds. We're sorry that you were not able to take advantage of our new, richer benefits through our parent company Mindtree, including an improved 401K match and a more expansive selection of health insurance plans. Regarding the leadership capabilities of managers—we do have a process in place for training individuals who will be managing Magnetic Minds. Through this training track, we hope to prepare our managers to provide the level of support and mentorship that enable our employees to thrive. We will be sure to pass along your thoughts about ensuring that employees assigned to projects are prepared with the skills necessary to do the job. Josh Youman VP Talent Magnet 360
