Pros

* The head office is in good location (q. ave qc) * Entry level basic pay is good and higher than other companies within qc * You will surely gain friends here * There are established automated systems that help make work and transactions easier * There are career paths for each department and an employee undergoes evaluation for promotion within a defined frequency * Salary is given on time and exactly at 15th & 30th

Cons

* No work life balance (you will not file for overtime since it lessens the performance bonus, they are not supportive in using leaves and very strict in letting you leave off work that they need concrete reasons even the leave will be used for personal purposes, they require you answer 24/7 because they give communication allowance or else it will be refuted) * Small mistakes can lead to notice of disciplinary action that lessens performance bonus * The performance bonus is high (only for higher levels) since this is performance-based and level-based * 5S is very strict from work station to even work files * The top management is very micro-managing and most of the time toxic * There is no activities for employee relations and engagement * They do not encourage work from home * It is difficult to get promoted depending on your boss * They do not give fair pay to some clerical worker position

Wouldn’t Return Even for the Pay

Pros

1. Pay is relatively good for fresh grads 2. Near a lot of establishments 3. Salary arrives on time

Cons

1. Mandatory OTY– If you value work-life balance, you should not join this company. It’s frowned upon if you leave work on time. 2. Office politics at its worst – A lot of section leads and managers only care about themselves. If they don’t like you, they will make it obvious by isolating you. 3. Poor employee engagement– There is no proper budget allocated, despite HR’s requests for improvements. 4. Very limited leave benefits– Even regular employees have very few leave credits. Taking leave can sometimes feel discouraged. 5. Long working hours – Due to the compressed work schedule, expect to be in the office for more than 10 hours. 6. Lack of health and safety support – There are no clinics, nurses, or medical staff available. I’m not even sure if there is a safety officer, despite having hundreds of employees onsite. 7. No proper training or mentorship – There are no proper turnovers, and the company does not invest in employee development. It’s every person for themselves, so don’t expect to find a good mentor. 8. Rigid and overly bureaucratic management – There are long approval processes that make work very limiting. Even after getting approval, they will still blame you if things go wrong, despite giving you the go signal to proceed. They treat employees as replaceable, which probably explains the high attrition rate. 9. Why is the pay higher than others? It’s because you’re expected to handle the workload of four people while being paid the salary of one. This is how they cut costs.
