Pros
Lots of great, dedicated people. Good location in a nice town. Having to forecast for a diverse range of clients in several geographic regions offers a great way to pick up experience across North America.
Cons
Incredible turnover rate...Combination of long stretches of work days (worked 15 out of 16 days during one stretch), and aggressive rotating shifts inevitably burn people out. Some clients unreasonable. Lousy health and dental insurance. Pay is barely enough to meet basic expenses, even for a single 22 year old guy in a relatively cheap place to live.

Pros
It was a job. And that is about it. You got experience and that was it. This job allowed you to get another job in meteorology.
Cons
It had a huge turn-over rate. Most people were trying (and have tried) for years to get out of the company. There were very few people that were happy and it was a terrible work environment. People were constantly watching over your back, waiting for you to screw up. At the time, they played favorites. I do not know if it is the same now. The salary was terrible.
