The positive culture maintained at and by the individual communities.

Cons

Never, in my entire career, have I ever worked in such an unprofessional environment. The lack of integrity, ethics and moral responsibility was mind boggling. Upper management demonstrated no concern for care beyond the profit margin high acuity brought to the bottom line. I am ashamed to acknowledge that I was ever involved with such a greedy and morally bankrupt organization.

Communities are beautiful and are each different in their own special way. The residents are wonderful.

Cons

Horrible benefits, cheapest option for family is $720 a pay, not a month but a pay! No match for 401K. Way too much micromanagement. A Lot is put on the Business Office Manager from all different directions, they expect you to be able to answer an email immediately but also be in the community. PTO accrual is very slow even for managers. AP takes weeks sometimes months to pay vendors, and the BOM is left to handle angry calls from said vendors.

Pros

The only thing good about this job is the people at the facility level. The residents, family members and most employees are great!

Cons

The corporation provides very low compensation for those at the facility level, who are the ones who actually do the work. The benefits are horrible, only 6 paid holidays a year, zero support from corporate, and upper management has a serious superiority complex.
