Welcome change from the standard experience....
Pros
I've had the pleasure to work with the key players at Muse VFX, here and at other companies, off and on over the last 15 years. With over 2 decades in the industry, I've learned that surrounding yourself with dedicated, caring people, with similar goals can be essential to long term happiness. Exemplary artists, a company wide emphasis on quality of life, manageable hours and expectations, highly knowledgeable support staff and management, consistent internal buffering of external stressors, and the ability to adapt quickly under pressure... these are just some of the benefits of working here. If you like being an essential part of a creative team, with leadership that honestly cares about your well being, Muse is a wonderful place to work.
Cons
While there's been minor issues in the past, since coming back it feels as though there's been consistent course corrections that not only resolved them, but pushed them in the opposite direction. Currently, there's really nothing that stands out, just the same standard hiccups that come while working in Visual FX during a pandemic. Minor(and infrequent) technical delays, meetings that get rescheduled, all of the same basic stuff that comes with the "new normal"... thankfully, they seem to handle it better than most... and there's no shifting of responsibility to the artist to make up for the delays.
