I have been working at NHS full-time

      Pros

Personally experienced good working relationships with registrars and consultants in acute medicine Good Pay if you do shifts

      Cons

Extremely stressful Understaffed on nurses/doctors Extended hours of work if you are dedicated to which there isn’t any additional pay

      Advice to Management

Most time is gone in doing profundities whichcould be handled by other staff who aren’t necessarily doctors. Let us please look at getting nurses for instance to take bloods and things. Doctors should be made to work on Attending as many patients as possible like in Asia/US. Perhaps increase the number of nurses and thereby increasing their scope of work as well.

I have been working at NHS part-time for more than 8 years

      Pros

Good hour and pay, great people to work with

      Cons

Management is awful, don't know what they're doing and no managerial experience or organisational skills at all, unless your face fits you'll get no where with them and no employee confidentiality.

      Advice to Management

Employ managers that have had managerial experience and been trained properly otherwise they're on an constant power trip and nothing really gets done
