Pros

Very helpful coworkers who are willing to help (although a lot of them are not happy working there) Got closer to God - You better pray your desk is not a burning dumpster. It pays the bills, I guess.

Cons

Lack of Training - They expect you to know how to do things that they never train you for. High Level of Office Politics - Super Toxic and Turnover is pretty high. Even the previous HR Director decided to leave. There is no growth opportunity - They uploaded two marketing videos to Youtube (their first two videos), and one of my ex-coworkers, who has been there for over 20 years, sarcastically says "What Unlimited Opportunity? Did I miss an email?" 401K plan sucks - First firm that I worked at where my 401K went negative returns. Like How? If you ended up on a bad desk and you actually WANT to be in this industry (not HAVE but WANT), you best buy Chap-Sticks wholesale from Costco cause your lips going to get extra sore and chapped after the butt kissing you do. Also, You better be BFF with the partners whose name is on the NKSFB initial. You will be fireproof. NKSFB is a friends and family business - they hire a lot of people with no experience. When I asked how they managed to get the job, they usually say their relatives know one of the partners. Account Manager on the desk I worked on, know very little about Microsoft Excel, it is embarrassing. How can you work in an accounting firm knowing very little Excel, and more importantly becoming an Account Manager? You guessed it, they have extremely chapped lips. Annual Reviews are purely BS. They make up promises they can't keep. They will fire you if you speak up about their BS, keep your head down.
