Pros

- APS benefits - Provide people with the financial support they require and deserve

Cons

- Bullying nature throughout leadership - Nepotism - They only care about KPIs and funding cuts never about the participants needs - They certainly do not care for their workforce

NDIS awful place to work

Recommend

Business outlook

Pros

Doing your best to help vulnerable people, get them access to funding and supports they need. Meaning in work, interesting and challenging.

Cons

Ridiculous workload, staff burnt out, staff breaking down in the office crying or walking out, walking around like zombies, going on stress leave and comcare. Workload not able to be completed in the day unless short cuts are taken (to detriment of clients) or hours of work done at home. Staff that don't do the extra work at home to get it done or take short cuts (not putting clients first) are micromanaged and performance planned until they leave. Working at the NDIS means many staff will develop psychological issues, depression, anxiety and burnout. Dreadful place to work. Also rampant favouritism and lack of transparency in promotions.

Pros

Good team to work with.

Cons

Unorganised and careless management Throwing people on the inbound phones who don't have the faintest clue what they're doing, causing a vulnerable community to suffer as a result. Swapping agents onto different work types at the drop of a hat. Expecting you to reach unrealistic kpis. Not listening to employees when they say they don't suit a work type, i would have survived if I only had to work behind the scenes. Ridiculous amount of information to look into for a simple question. Too much jargon, you'll be reading for years to find the answer. I have now lost a job I thought I was safe in, due to the fact I couldn't handle the unrealistic pressure. My anxiety broke down and I have suffered too much in my short life, I have realised I only continue to live in misery. Worst company. DO NOT APPLY if you struggle with stress. Thank you for nothing.
