Pros

Head down to the CONS:)

Cons

Joining this company is signing up yourself for a period of depression, stress, and anxiety. Sundays will be a weekly reminder filled with panic attacks and anxiety attacks, a small trailer of the week of toxicity awaiting. Thankyou OSG for creating this hostile environment, where workers are shouted at by their managers/ "VP”, people are excluded from meetings, plans and outings because they are hated for no reason/because they do not wish to give in to the herd culture/ do not wish to stoop down to their level. Being an active part of the thriving gossip culture is how you make your place in this office, your manager will too sit along to spill the tea. The only way to survive here is indulging in flattery. No skills, no work, just plain flattery. Your co-workers and the management make sure you are never treated like a human. They will scrounge for an excuse to make a mockery out of you. You will be discriminated against. Forget getting any credits or appreciation for your ideas and inputs. Your manager and seniors will be quick to steal the show. The management insists on feedback and suggestions during your reviews. They will ask you about your goals, what is it that you seek to learn or improve. DO NOT fall into this sweet trap. If you do,the consequences can be as follows: - You will be publicly harassed in a team meeting, - You will put under a Performance Improvement Plan, - Your manager will be changed. You will be thrown into a new ground even months after working it off. - You will be fired. Work-Life Balance is a joke. Working overtime does not come as a request, it is expected. If you dare to stray, you will be shown your place. The HR is a hoax. The guy is known for ogling women from head to toe. Well, thanks for the harassment. If you think they are paying you well enough for you to “push through” (read: be enslaved), rest assured half of it will be spent on doctors to help you recover from the serious aftermath you will suffer because of working here. A poor retention rate is what OSG boasts of. Many do not even last a few months in this hell hole.

Pros

Work is not challenging. Work Environment is not healthy- too much politics, favoritism, lack of trust! If you are Tamil Brahmin- You can stay there happily without working. Analysts and Senior analysts are treated as college kids. Not good place to start a career as there is nothing to learn, work is monotonous and doesn't enhance any skill-sets. Most of work is just cut copy, is no brainer. Seniors doesn't have knowledge or understand clients request. This increases analyst's work as he need to redo everything again and again because of lack of direction/clarity from Senior's end. You can be fired anytime without any reason. The office sitting is more like a call center. Seniors keep changing and all bring their own style of structure and set of useless rules

Cons

Package offered is above industry average. That is the only reason for people to take offer but unhealthy environment make them quit soon. Average employment duration is 1 yr.

Thank you for your feedback, and we apologize that your learning curve was not steep. A healthy discussion with your manager should have fixed this. Issues regarding work environment are serious concerns for our HR team, and we wish you would have worked with them/me to get this corrected as well. Diversity is top priority at OSG, and we grow as a team when we have people from all over the globe come together to solve business challenges. We are not biased towards any particular community. I would be happy to discuss any specific situations you may have encountered. Please feel free to contact me.

Pros

Pros is flexible work culture

Cons

hire , fire and again hire new people, this is the only strategy they follow. If you want to take a chance with your career than you should come here. Absolutely no job security. Lot of false promises they make when you join.

Thank you for your review. While our hiring practices are comparable to the best in the industry, we often do have to make difficult decisions. We value all our talent for their hard work but believe that it is in the best interest of our talent to guide them to careers that are better suited for them! Please feel free to reach out to me if you want to discuss this further.
