At first, this seemed like a great place to work, but over time it became clear that the company doesn’t live up to the values it promotes. We were recently told that our store is closing. While we were told we’ll be paid through our contractual three-month notice period, the communication has been very unclear and to be honest, I’m not fully confident we’ll actually receive full pay through the end.
Many of us have worked hard, taken on extra hours, and given a lot of effort, often without recognition from the company. Despite rising living costs, there hasn’t been any inflation adjustment to our salaries in over two years. Promises and growth opportunities were vague or never followed through.
The company talks a lot about transparency and caring for its people, but in practice, decisions are made behind closed doors and communicated very poorly. It's disappointing to see employees treated this way, especially during uncertain times.
This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had, with company management completely failing their employees.
