Pros

Hard to find any, as the cons out weigh the pros. Maybe working on Madison Avenue, NY would be the only pro.

Cons

Everything. Company doesn't care about its employees. Owner makes decision that makes no sense and the whole corporate structure is a joke. It's like a boys club running a business. A lot of homophobia, racism and sexism. Stay away. This store has had 5 store managers in less than a year.

Pros

-Ability to work with new people, and support each other through a very difficult experience.

Cons

-Plein himself has many issues - poor management, poor communication, big ego, short tempered, sexist, racist, etc. -Upper management is either just like Plein, clueless, or looking to leave. Months of ignored emails, no support, no IT department, no HR. Can take months to replace employees, leading to short staff and high turnover. -Extreme lack of structure / almost zero policy & guidelines. -Designs are almost always a rip off of other brands. -Prices are way too high and promos are often confusing - merchandise is made cheap and falls apart before it can be sold. Many items have confusing labels of origin (claims to be made in Italy but usually made in Turkey). -Poor allocation - shipments lack full size runs. Too many styles, not enough stock. -No employee discount or clothing allowance. -Uniforms are cheap, uncomfortable, and hard to replace - it has taken months to reorder. -Arrogant and offensive brand image attracts customers with the same traits. -Inconsistencies between stores leads to confusion among employees and clients - varying promos, selections, and policies. -Stores built too small to handle heavy traffic. Poor layout/coverage leads to frequent theft. Truly an awful experience. Surprised the company is still in business.

Cons

The worst experience I had in my 15 years in luxury fashion retail. Very cheap with their employees, no salary increases for anyone, cheap uniforms, crazy working hours. The designer and the HQ team are the worst!! They bring always some uneducated people who doesn’t even speaks English or even write an email and they give them tittles!! They treat their employees like trash and they are very very Very racist, sexist, homophobic. Very toxic working place
