Pros
When everything was going well, there was team spirit. Processes may not have worked but everyone seemed to be working towards a greater goal.
Cons
The salaries never rose and bonuses never appeared. People wouldn't get recognition for hard work and upper lever management was very disconnected from what was actually happening with employees lower down.
